The full cast has been revealed for Jon Favreau’s upcoming ‘live action’ remake of Disney’s The Lion King, with one particularly exciting member officially confirmed.
As previously announced, Donald Glover is on board to play Simba, while John Oliver will voice Zazu and Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner will portray Pumbaa and Timon, respectively.
Joining them will be Beyonce as Nala, which was rumoured but not a definite until this morning. Additionally, James Earl Jones (!) will reprise his role as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor is Scar, Alfre Woodard is Sarabi, John Kani is Rafiki, Eric Andre is Azizi, Florence Kasumba is Shenzi, and Keegan-Michael Key is Kamari.

Young actors JD McCrary and Shahadi Wright Joseph will voice young Simba and Nala.
The film will be released July 19, 2019 so it’s still a way off. No reason not to get excited though, and this cast list is sure to turn around some doubters.
